Description
Yellow stripes, pops of pink & green accents flutter around the nursery for our baby girl
Design Inspiration
I wanted a space that was both sweet and playful. The horizontal stripes add enough of a graphic in the room to only need subtle touches here & there.
Decorating Style
"Old Meets New" I like my spaces to feel fresh and new but bot static. Mixing in both new pieces with existing or vintage ones helps balance a space
Project Details
The room combines both store bought and custom made pieces. The crib, rocker & changing table were all purchased new. We had the dresser and added a little TLC by sanding it down and re-painting. The alphabet & numbers print we purchased through a Etsy - and I painted the intside and outside edges of the frame pink for a pop. The Bedding is a mix: the bumper is Babies-r-Us, the sheet is Pottery Barn Kids, and I made the crib skirt with fabric I found at Jo-Ann's Fabrics. I also made the Roman shades with a fabric from Jo-Ann's
