Baby Girl F’s Nursery

Description

Bright and cheerful girls nursery.

Design Inspiration

I first decided on our "Harper" bedding from PB Kids. Once I saw it I knew I wanted lots of bright color with a focal wall. Nothing overly feminine.

Project Details

Baby's bedding is Bright Pink "Harper" from PB Kids. Crib is also from PB Kids and is the low profile "Kendall."

We were able to be thrifty in a few areas of the room. The dresser used as our changing table is one that was given to us by my husband's parents. Both lamps in the rooms are ones that I already had. The yellow lamp was given to me when I was in middle school and was made by an aunt. The book ledges were made by my husband and are metal. My husband also made our little pink side table. We got our rocker for $20 at an antique store and gave it a coat of paint. My throw blanket and pillow were also ones that I already had. I was able to do some "shopping" in our basement storage room.

As far as wall decor, the two large metal flowers are ones that I already had and the "Love You Forever" art was purchased from a shop called "Hola Sunshine" on etsy.com.

Ruffle curtain panels were purchased from Target.

Our accent wall was achieved using painters tape and a lot of patience :)

I love the citrusy or tutti-frutti overall effect of this room. Looking it at makes my mouth water.

I absolutely love the bright and feminine colors. What shade of orange is that?

So cute, Laura. Takes me back to doing my boys' rooms. I loved doing them. In fact, I just did Joe's again over the winter. Where is the "Wild Things" picture hanging? I have that book and the "Love You Forever" book. Anyway, I love the mix of your old stuff and your new stuff. Exciting!
