Description
Instead of a brief blessing in front of the church, Griffin's dedication took place at our home among close family and friends. We wanted to center the event around God while also providing food and entertainment for the guests.
Design Inspiration
Having chosen a few verses from the bible to serve as the foundation of the dedication, we decided that something natural involving fruit and trees should be incorporated.
Decorating Style
Bibles and Crosses were the main theme of the day, but other elements went into the design inspiration, as well. Photos of Griffin throughout his 6 months were scattered throughout the house, as well as an overall green and white color scheme with pears and hydrangeas.
Project Details
- Pears were in season and purchased at grocery stores.
- Large glass containers were inexpensive at Bed Bath and Beyond.
- Wine Bucket - TJ Maxx
- Wooden Initials - Joanne Fabric
- Platters - Vietri and Arthur Court
