Cordelia's nursery was a long work in progress - but we absolutely love it! We wanted something feminine but not too "bubble gum". My husband is the master painter & handyman who made it all happen (aka he painted and hung the stuff). My Mom and family were also an amazing help :)
I wanted the nursery to have a very clean feeling with a lot of bright white and pale grey - a soothing place for our baby girl to call her own. Some of the accents are *snow themed* as her name is Cordelia Sylvia Snow. Side note: I hate that I took these pictures with my iphone, the quality is the worst.

I'd have to say the Pottery Barn Kids Curtains & the Glider. But as far as guests - whenever anyone visits the nursery they rave over the Snoop Dogg Prints - they are amusing because from far away they look so classy and chic - then as you get closer you realize "Sippin on Milk and Juice..." is indeed a rap song on a baby girls wall... and who doesn't want that? "With my mind on my mommy and my mommy on my mind." Love it :)
My advice would be to browse Project Nursery and nursery blogs as much as possible for ideas. Also ETSY was great for personalization and little touches. And if you want to have rap lyrics on the wall and snow globes all year even though you live in Florida - do it.
