Modern, gender neutral nursery.
Design Inspiration:
We knew we wanted to paint the walls a soft grey and purchase white furniture because we wanted to create a soft, peaceful, gender neutral space for our new addition coming mid January. After that, I started looking at fabrics. I chose 4-5 different modern geometric patterns I really liked and wanted to use in the room somehow. After that, everything pretty much fell into place. We're so happy with the space we've created for our little one.
Decorating Style:
Modern, simplistic, clean lines
Favorite Items:
Favorite item is our Monte Vola Glider
Advice:
Find a piece or two that you can draw inspiration from. Whether it be a piece of art work, a pattern, fabric, texture, etc.

Hi Shara ~ We found the book ledges at Ikea. They really worked out great! They’re affordable and available in two different sizes.

Hi Jenny ~ Thanks so much!! We actually created a custom grey that worked out perfect. We started looking at the carpet color, and after looking through a Pantone Book, we found a neutral grey that worked well and told our paint store to match the color we chose. I didn’t want anything too blue because we still don’t know the sex of the baby, so found something slightly warmer.

The ABC canvas was something I designed myself and then painted on canvas. I’m a graphic designer so I really wanted to do all the artwork myself. I’m thinking about posting it on Etsy. It seems like people love it just as much as I do! Is there anyone interested if I do? I would be happy to create it in different color palettes. Let me know!

The curtains were another DIY project. I found fabric I liked from a local fabric store and made the panels. I’ve never made curtains before but it was pretty easy. Good Luck!
