We wanted a nursery that wasn't so "baby". I didn't want baby blue everywhere! I wanted something fun, but pretty. We went with lime green, grey and white as our color scheme.

Decorating Style:
Our whole house is neutrals and reds. We are classic and simple.
Our nursery was previously our office so it was already a slate grey color and we added 5 really light grey stripes on one wall to add a pop. Grey is our new "tan", love GREY! And it goes with a lot, we knew we would leave it grey for either gender.

Don't you hate when you get all excited and spend lots of money on something and then its not what you expected? Well this time that DIDN'T happen! Yay!

Advice:
Start planning and ordering things ASAP. Bedding took 8 weeks (she estimated 12 though), crib and dresser took 6 weeks, chair took 6 weeks. Have a plan in mind for each gender and start ordering/buying as soon as you find out! I wanted everything finished before I was HUGE and miserable! Mission accomplished:) Hope you enjoy his room!
