Description
I decorated this aviation nursery for my 21 month old airplane lover. Most of the things in his room are my own diy projects, or thrift store and yard sale finds. We were on a tight budget, and the total cost of the room was a little less than $250, including all the furniture. I'm also very limited to the things I can do in his room, like changing light fixtures or flooring, since I live on a military installation; but I still love how it turns out.
Project Details
Painted the dresser with the color Naval by Sherwin Williams, and used mod podge and maps for the bottom drawers. For the toy chest, I used the same color as the dresser and glued the spray painted letters. For the vintage suitcase over the dresser, used chalk paint for the outside and maps for the inside.
