- A Project For: Rebecca
- Age: New Born
- Location: Atlanta Georgia
-
Description:
We wanted a fresh take on a traditional nursery. We liked the idea of the lavender color scheme and the traditional vertical stripes.
-
Design Inspiration:
We were inspired by the patterned Serena and Lilly Bumper fabric. We wanted to start with the bumper and them remove it for safety. That's why we ordered extra fabric and added it to the drapery panels.
-
Decorating Style:
Our decorating style is cool mix of classic colors and lines and modern simplicity.

Project Details:
Cribe and changing table / Baby's Dream Furniture / Kathryn in Snowdrift
Custom Rocker in velvet from Lewis and Sheron
Lulu Crib Bedding from Serena and Lily
seafoam rug from LaylaGrayce

Favorite Items:
The Inspiration Fabric is my favorite part. We really needed it to make the space more modern.

Advice:
There are several elements of this space that Project Nursery readers could easily duplicate. First are the stripes. They have been used in nursery design for decades. They never seem to go out of style.
Second is the actual color palet. The lavender and seafoam are great in many combinations. The stripes would have been just as charming in the green.
A hidden treasure in the room are the drapery panels. They were custom made and lined with blackout lining. Great for day time sleeping.
Order extra yardage of the inspiration fabric. You never know where you'll need it.
