Aqua and brown nursery with hippo wall decal and pom accents. Dark espresso furniture and mocha recliner round out the space. Framed art work of turtles and hippos accent the room.
Design Inspiration
The afghan that is draped across the recliner was given to me by my great grandmother as a wedding present. I chose the paint based on it, and everything evolved from there.
Decorating Style
Modern, neutrals with pops of color. Coordinating but not matchy-matchy.

Furniture is by Bonavita.
Paint is Sherwin Williams. The lighter color is Sherwin Williams Hazel 6471. The darker color is surf green 6473.

The poms are from esty (just search tissue paper pom poms - there are lots of sellers) but many people DIY - i believe if you google martha stewart tissue paper poms, directions will come up.

Nope, I think the color is perfect. Maybe you should consider moving the recliner to somewhere else, this would give more space for the baby and you to move around in. Otherwise this room is quite simply perfect.

I love the hippo decal as well. I am not so sure about the color, it seems to make the room darker than it should be. I love the afghan too :)
