Design Inspiration:I really wanted to create a dreamy, whimsical feel. The main inspiration for my party was the color scheme I found. Peach, sea foam green, cream and light pink. Andi is so dainty and delicate; I really wanted her party to highlight those qualities we love most about her.
Decorating Style:vintage and shabby chic
Project Details:For the lemonade bottles I used star bucks frappachino bottles and took off the labels. They were the perfect shape and size for little hands. I used coffee filters for the white wreath. so cheap! The cupcake toppers and birthday hat were made from my scrapbooking supplies. The pinwheels and wreath details were made from old dictionary pages. Instead of ordering macaroons I made homemade whoopie pies. I used strawberry cake mix and cream cheese frosting
Favorite Items:The cake and birthday outfit.
Advice:My main advice would be to borrow. All of the dishes and cake platters were borrowed. For the tissue paper balls I bought all of the tissue paper after Christmas, it was way on sale. I used a shower curtain as the table cloth. It fit perfectly on my square table.
I love the soft, delicate colors you used. They give off a vintage feel to the table setting. And those treats look like they came from a French pastry shop!
I keep coming back to this and thinking, wow, how can I do this…. How did you make beautiful folded paper chandelier, what is the base? gosh I love it and the picture of your little angel looking up at it from the table, just stunning!
Hi! Love how you hung everything from the ceiling over the table! How did you hang it? I am doing something similar for my best friend’s bridal shower. I was planning on using 3M removable hooks…is that what you did?
Very pretty. I love the poms and the goodies look delicious!

This is so beautiful. Adorable. Magnificent. I need to come up with something equally fun, but for a boy.

Thank you! It was so much fun, just have fun with it. The chandelier base is a wire coat hanger. Go to this website for a tutorial http://hipweddings.blogspot.com/2010/04/fanciful-chandelier.html hope this helps
