Design Inspiration

I tried to go with cheery, primary palette to pair with the Skip Hop bedding and accessories.  Brightly colored artwork and white furniture keep the room clean and happy.

Decorating Style

I love using a lot of colors and finding inspirational artwork that is fun for both mama and baby to enjoy.  I usually incorporate a good bit of vintage finds into my rooms and they tend to be somewhat eclectic, but this room is a bit more clean and traditional.

Advice

Don't worry about being too matchy-matchy.  Find items that make you happy, and it will work.

I've worked in day cares for 5+ years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. It just makes sense that I'm drawn to the alphabet theme. Skip Hop makes some amazing designs. I can't wait for our Baby V to have their alphabet nursery.

This is my favorite hands down. LOVE the bright, poppy colors and adore that this room reads for either gender!

I love this because it is something that would still be beautiful and well designed 10 years from now!
