This is a nautical themed baby shower I designed. My friend was hosting the shower and she asked me to do the design details.
Design Inspiration
The nursery design was the inspiration for the shower. The mommy-to-be chose a nautical theme for the nursery.
Decorating Style
When it comes to showers and parties, I have to be flexible in my design style to suit the client/friend.
Project Details
Working with a budget, we bought the hydrangeas and arranged them ourselves to save money. The lanterns were purchages at HomeGoods.
Favorite Items
My favorite item is the hydrangea arrangement with the sailboat I painted.
Advice
Navy blue and white stripes always scream nautical to me. Accent with red to make it pop. I always try to incorporate some kind of fresh flower in any design that I do.
