Addelyn’s Winter Princess Wonderland

Description

Addelyn's birthday being so close to Christmas brings a lot of challenges! We wanted to pick a theme that was special to her birthday, not Christmassy, but still incorporating winter.  We thought adding  lots of silver and white with pops of pink, would give it that classic look without being over the top princess.

Design Inspiration

We already had the princess so the theme was a no brainer! I was mainly inspired by the white winter parties and gradually began to add more pink.

Decorating Style

I love mixing bold geometric patterns with classic touches and timeless pieces. Silver and gold is my favorite decorating combination.

Project Details

I handmade the cupcake toppers which you can find on my Etsy site here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/118356189/glitter-princess-cupcake-toppers?ref=sr_gallery_35&ga_search_query=Glitter+cupcake+toppers&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=Glitter+cupcake+toppers     The serving platters all came from TJ Maxx The sparkle polka dot overlay came from Hobby Lobby The forks were plain pink forks that I embellished with rhinestones The Silver ornaments came from Hobby Lobby & I designed the banner

Favorite Items

The cupcakes were my absolute favorite! They add sparkle to the table! I also loved the silver ornaments that we hung from the chandelier

Advice

Have fun with it!

Pretty and girly party! The photos are just sort of vintage-y or gloomy, so I couldn't appreciate the colors.

It's a nice combination of winter and princess. I thought winter wonderlands must be all white, silvery and sparkly.
