Abigail's nursery can be described as playful with both modern and feminine elements. I enjoy DIY projects and found inspiration through Etsy and Pinterest.
Design Inspiration:
Abigail's nursery was inspired by the colorful and playful prints of Lilly Pulitzer. Not only did we want the nursery to be visually stimulating, but we wanted the room to be a place that she could grow into. There are personal elements of my husband and I throughout the room, which makes the nursery that much more cozy.

Favorite Items:
My favorite items in the room are the birdhouse lamp that was made by Abigail's Grandfather, and the quilt that was made by Abigail's Aunt Lindsey.
Advice:
Don't be intimidated by DIY projects and make sure that the nursery will be a comfortable place for mom and dad too.

Such a pretty girly room. Those fabrics you used for the embroidery hoops you hung on the wall above the crib are just gorgeous and so excitingly colorful. Another fave of mine would have to be the ruffled curtains, and the fabric wreath too.

Yes, I did. I used the extra Lilly fabric I had from the embroidery hoops.
