A Room for a Super Fun Girl

Description

A new "big girl" room for our oldest daughter. It includes her favorite things- blue, chevron (she calls it zig-zag) chandeliers, and leopard print!

Design Inspiration

It started with the refinished turquoise and teal vintage bed- and then we both fell in love with the Caden Lane bedding... the rest was easy!!

Decorating Style

For my kiddos, fun and girly- anything goes!

Favorite Items

I have to pick just one? It all started with the bed, and the chevron bedding... but I love the leopard print, the wall art, the chandeliers- everytime I go into that room I fall in love all over again! Harper wants to show it off to anyone that comes over to visit, so we are both happy.

Advice

Use inspiration, (I looked at tons of rooms on here) and shop around! Most everything was purchased online (except for the bedding, wall art, and accessories) which made it easy to get together for the room makeover. My daughter insisted on the printed sheets, so we did the solid shams instead of the whole Caden Lane set. At first I wondered if it would work- but I like the printed sheets, in keeps it young and fun. My daughter is happy because she was able to give her own creative input for her dream room!

How did you create the leopard print? Is this a stencil? Favorite room I have seen in a while!! Great job!

the wall behind the bed is very overwhelming, and at first I thought this room would be for a much older lil girl, maybe a preteen. without the leopard print it seems like a nice room, but it's hard to focus on anything else. The bedding is pretty on it's own, i love caden lane. I just see too much of a clash with the wall to move onto appreciating any other details in this space.
