The theme of Seba's room is that there is no theme. We took a collection of things old and new, bought and made -- and put them all together to make a castle for our Prince! To see more on my blog

Design Inspiration

Imagining our little Prince.

Decorating Style

A mix of vintage and new, Italian and Canadian, with lots of love and happiness thrown in.

Project Details

Seba's crib is from Cara Mia in Montreal.  The giraffe desk was a great find at Winners.  The numbers on the wall are made with love by his daddy and the decals are by Ludo @ Adzif.  The firetruck and the stuffed heart with his middle name are gifts from Italy.

Favorite Items

The numbers and the giraffe decals -- they make us happy =)

While the decals are great, I think that what you have there on clothespin is even nicer.  That is truly eyecatching and makes the room more fun and alive!  Did you make that???

  2. 2

A friend made it for my baby shower it was a nursery rhyme theme — our son loved it so much we decided to keep it as an over-sized mobile!

The number art installation is super! I love it. How did you make it or come up with the idea?

  4. 4

Daddy came up with the idea!  My boyfriend loves building and making things from wood….There was a man throwing a way a bunch of tree branches so we stopped and picked them up.

To make the numbers he cut out the numbers on bristol board, sawed the branches and then glued them on the numbers =)

What a nice room, it’s pretty obvious that there were a lot of influences here, but it really came together quite nicely.  I personally love that cross with the prayer and the GROW.

The giraffe on the wall looks cute and funny. I find the collection of little things in this room interesting. That means there’s plenty for the little one to look at.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments =)

Ianamrie, I found the grow sign at Winners (Canada) in the Garden Area!
