Project Details

I'm not much of a DIY person, but I really wanted to try and take on some of the projects for her birthday.  The Happy Birthday banner, high chair banner and monthly picture banner were DIY that I made with my mom.  Elena helped a little too!

Bella Doro Baking did her smash cake, decorated sugar cookies and 3 tier petal designed cake.

I ordered the circle dot garland and the tissue paper (pre-cut) from Pomtree.

Cake stands, gold chargers and table cloths were from Homegoods (love that place!)

Elena's birthday crown was by The Little Anchor Shop.

Elena's birthday outfit was by my friends at Three Crafty Corners.

Favorite Items

I love how everything came together. The colors were bright and cheerful, the cake was amazing and everyone had fun!

Advice

I spent some time browsing through the Project Nursery gallery Pinterest and also Instagram for ideas.  My main piece of advice is start planning early so you don't get overwhelmed come party time.  I think planning six weeks early saved me!  Take pictures!  Have fun!   And eat cake, lots of cake!
