A Contemporary Colorful Modern Nursery

Location: Los Angeles
Description: This client specifically asked for a non-pink room since her other daughter's room is bright pink. She loves the color turquoise so we went with it for the design. We used a few pieces in the room that the client already owned which included the crib and glider. Everything else was purchased to compliment our design concept.
Design Inspiration: The inspiration for the room came from the Osborne & Little fabric chosen for the window treatments.
Decorating Style: This client's home is structurally very traditional but they wanted to have some fun and add energy into the children's rooms. The client is not afraid of color and likes to mix modern and traditional design.
Project Details: Crib - Aerial by Nurseryworks Bookcase - Blu Cubbie by Bratt Decor Decals - Tweetie Birds by Pop & Lolli Glider - Little Castle
Favorite Items: My favorite element of the room is the Manuel Canovas Trellis wallpapered ceiling.
Advice: Don't forget about the ceiling. If you are nervous to use something more permanent like wallpaper, just paint it a few shades lighter than the rest of the walls. It will make all the difference.
