We loosely used a bird theme with the main colors of grey, pink, and lime green throughout.
Design Inspiration:
The baby shower was a "Baby Bird" Theme that we wanted to continue into her nursery. We also wanted a room that could be easily transitioned for any other future babies.
Decorating Style:
Clean lines and simple background with lots of pops of color. It is a small room so we wanted to keep it simple.
Project Details:
Wall paint Mindful Grey, HGTV brand; Floor Lamp, Dresser, Rug, Shelves from IKEA; Glider from BabiesRUs; Crib from Graco Lauren; Green lamp and picture frames from Target; wall mirror birds and side table from HomeGoods; Charlotte clothes hanger from lilafrances on Etsy; Birch branch curtain rod and wooden birdhouses from Michael's; Paper Lanterns from paperlanternstore.com (I covered them myself with different tissue paper circles); fabrics for curtains, pad cover, pennant, and crib skirt from Cottonseed Glory Quilt shop in Annapolis (sewn by my Mother).
Favorite Items:
The lanterns over the crib are my favorite detail. I bought basic paper lanterns and then covered them with tissue paper circles to create a different hanging feature over the crib.

Cute nursery! I really like those unique-looking pompoms. Remind me of fish scale!
Hello! I'm married to a wonderful man and we are first time parents to an adorable little girl. I really enjoyed decorating her nursery and am already thinking of 1st Birthday Party ideas!
