Description
We are expecting our first baby (girl) in April! I wanted a nursery that was modern yet simple that she could grow into over the years. We are thrilled with the finished project and can't wait to welcome our baby girl into her happy nest!
Design Inspiration
I got my design inspiration from SwankySwell's article (posted previously in January 2010) on Project Nursery as "modern whimsy nursery." When I was exploring nursery ideas for our baby girl, this was my favorite because of it's modern, simple, yet chic style!
Decorating Style
A lot of my girlfriends were surprised by my choice of style because I normally love anything that has to do with BLING, the color pink, and Hello Kitty! However, I wanted something simple and different for our baby girl. I love the pop of color (reds & blues) in the nursery. Hope she likes it!

What is the gray paint color on the walls? We're doing similar styling (furniture and bedding) but with pops of plum instead!
