A bright bold and modern take on a traditional butterfly/garden party. Hot pinks and yellows were our color scheme with a sweet butterfly motif.
Design Inspiration:
The wide yellow and white stripe fabric as well as the darling tutu set by Strawberrie Rose were the inspirational starting points for this garden set party.
Decorating Style:
I like to take a whimsical and modern twist to classic themes. This one is bright and sun-shinny as the time of year it was held.
Project Details:
The best part is making party details your own. I created these home made floral arrangements using large vases and flowers from my local store. Branches purchased at Michaels were placed in the center and created a unusual look to the sides of the dessert table.
Ribbons were threaded through holes made in the sides of the stripe fabric to "pull up" like a window shade and create these pretty folds. Tied in a bow and makes a really girly look.

Favorite Items:
Many sweets created this decadent table but the cake was the crowning glory! A hot pink cake with a branch twining around the side and 3D butterflys made this a focal point of the table.

Wow Rebekah, I’m impressed by your design skills. It even makes me nervous thinking if I’m ever gonna be able to be that good (I just started my event planning business with just my “raw skills” and passion for entertaining) I don’t even have a design background, but lots of creativity and positive attitude. How to you bring an existing pattern from a fabric to a personalized printable label, is that with a computer program? Do you mind shearing that with me? And also, would you give me one little tip or special advice to be successful at this dessert table and party designing. Thank you so much for sharing your creations, your very gifted. Ah, and BTW his is my blog if you want take a quick look at it: threelittlebirdsentertaining.blogspot.com.
