Purple and Silver Nursery for Princess

Description

Our daughter's room was truly a labor of love! My wonderful husband painted the room in a silvery gray that matched the rest of the house and everything flowed from the wall color and purple chair which was the first item we had for the room. I had a great time planning the room and wanted a room that was both beautiful for our little girl, but not too "baby-ish."  I wanted a room that could grow with our daughter and would also be a place that mom would love as well, plus the occasional guest. I have spent many times since the room has been completed sitting and enjoying the room and looking forward to the moment baby is here to enjoy her room as well!

Design Inspiration

My inspiration started with the purple chair, which was in our bedroom. The chair was very comfortable and I thought it would be perfect for sitting with our new little girl. From the chair, stemmed the color palette, which I decided would be purple, silver and grey.

Decorating Style

Contemporary, sophisticated and clean.

Cute crib. Before reading what you wrote, I thought the chair's black.
