We were adopting and had been expecting a boy. Shortly after that fell through, we received a surprise baby girl and had to transform our gray and navy nursery for her!

I wanted something comfortable, a room where we could all hang out and spend time together, not something too childish or dated.

Project Details:
The crib and dressing table are from Pottery Barn Kids (Catalina).
the rug and curtains are from target.
the day bed and burlap cover are from world market the white chair is vintage from my moms living room before she passed away). The pouf is from home goods.
the elephant rocker is from one kings lane and the pillows are from anthropologie, Nordstrom, and PB kids.
cork board as the wall trim, to fill in a pre-made space meant for a wallpaper border.
artwork is from etsy Or local boutiques.

Favorite Items:
The daybed and pillows! Definitely the focal point of the room, and the place where we all hang out - baby, parents, dogs and cat!

Just don't try to be too matchy, matchy. Buy what you love and figure out ways to make it work together.
