This nursery was inspired by DIY, Pink, and modern little girls room she could grow into! I searched many stores, websites and magazines for inspiration and I think it ended up being a combination of my favorite things.
Decorating Style:
My entire house is very modern and I wanted my daughter to feel comfortable in her room. So I think that its comfy traditional.
Project Details:
There are also many small items that are very personal {such as the canopy above the bed is the Veil from my wedding}. I also made the lamp which was a knock off of a pottery barn lamp. I also modge podged the canvases with scrapbook paper. I made her hand & foot prints from homemade salt dough. I also made her bedskirt which you cant see very well until we lower the crib for her toddlers years. I changed out the knobs on the dresser to give it a girly look! The glider we spend a lot of time there with feedings and reading.
Advice:
Go with things you love and make it look cohesive with a color or pattern scheme.

Love the soft colors. But my fave are the hand and foot prints made from salt dough. I think I would like to learn how to make one of those myself.
