The ultimate children's design resource

Meet Pam Ginocchio

I’ve always been a major multi-tasker, the type of person that is actually more productive when their plate is filled to the brim. So as a mother of three young children and co-founder of Project Nursery, nothing makes me happier than a full house and a hectic work schedule. A great day begins with a messy pancake making session with the kids, followed by a long run and a quick latte, then comes the slew of conference calls and school pick-ups. The day usually ends with a glass of red wine and a hunk of good cheese with my husband after the kids are tucked into bed.

I love living in San Francisco—a vibrant, urban city—because every day I am inspired by the people, fashion and art around me. I’m particularly drawn to color and pattern, and I have a blossoming love affair with geometric and 70′s inspired prints. I’d say my style is modern with a twist of eclectic and a touch of global chic. I’m constantly rearranging furniture, pillows and accessories in my Victorian home because I like things to look fresh and new. Sticking to one design style is challenging for me, but I am lucky enough to work with my dear and focused friend Melisa. I often dream up an idea, and she is the go-to gal to turn ideas into action. The yin to my yang.

Project Nursery is a way for me to share amazing finds for the family home, and this passion has grown into a full-fledged business. It’s an exciting time to be an entrepreneur and mother, and I’m loving every minute of it.

Pam Loves…

1. Greek yogurt with berries and sprinkled almonds is a favorite snack any time of the day. Nutritious and filling when I need a pick me up. 2. Part yoga, part ballet with a dash of pilates, Jill Dailey’s Dailey Method keeps my mind and body in check. I’m addicted! 3. Although I love fashion, most days I’m sporting jeans and a comfy top. My trick is to glam up a casual outfit with a great pair of showstopping earrings. 4. I heart anything Missoni 5. Ikat has always been a favorite bold pattern. Its ethnic feel can be complemented with modern lines. 6. A girl and her handbag is a match made in heaven. My Chloe hobo is the perfect blend of bohemian and luxe, and the camel color goes with everything. 7. If I could have only one thing in my makeup bag, it would be Armani’s Eyes to Kill mascara—hands down the best out there. 8.Yellow and white together are bright and happy. I have several of these West Elm lacquer desk accessories in my office to keep things crisp and cheery.
