One time in my college accounting class, the professor urged me to consider a career in the field, but I adamantly told him I was planning to be a stay-at-home mom. I spent several years in corporate sales, but I was thrilled to leave that job behind to relocate to our nation’s Capitol when I was pregnant with our little girl, Peyton.
I’m so excited to be a part of the Project Nursery team because when I find out someone is pregnant, my first thought is always, “Tell me about your nursery!” I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but joining this team has allowed me to continue to challenge myself in the sales arena. It’s so much fun to chat about the latest and greatest baby gear and nursery trends on a daily basis and to be able to spend the rest of my time with my girl. I love being on the go, and multitasking has always been a core part of my personality, so this job truly is the perfect fit.
You can usually find me heading out to a playgroup date, photo documenting life with my daughter on social media or planning our next family trip. I can’t make it through the summer without stepping onto a beach, I want to bring home every dog at the pound, and I’m a total coffee addict.
