hi… that's also one of my concerns too, but I am assuming that these balls are securely fastened there.

Overall, let me confess that I don't exactly like this room :(  I think I may be one of the few.

For one, there is nothing going on at the center.  It feels so strange to have all these colors and still feel that the room is bare.

For another, I think using three very bright colors is a huge mistake here.  I would have gone for yellow and blue and then muted or pastel green.  Still bright, but the contrast in my opinion is wonderful.

hi Creative Crumbs,

don't worry, you are not alone in not liking this room.  I agree with you that the colors are too bright for comfort.

We have different opinions Creative crumbs :)
For my part, I think this room is one of my favorites in the galleries.  I think you're wrong in saying that three bright colors doesn't mix well in this room… In fact, I think that it is what makes this room alive and dynamic!

I am bothered by the disco balls on top of that dresser.  It's fine if the baby is still in the crib, but it could present some serious problems if you have a toddler milling about the room and bumping into things.

I somehow fail to see the connection for rock stars or duchesses.  But I would say this is a great room.

I've read the designer's description on this room, and it seems that most of the furniture and details you see here were upcycled, meaning they are old stuff that were refurbished.  I think it's a great looking budget room that made use of vintage stuff and still looked very modern.

I agree with you that the yellow is great here.  I also love the greens.  But, I really am wondering why that blue rocking chair is there.  I know that aqua is supposed to be one of the colors in the theme, but with the yellow and the green, it seems like the blues are fighting a losing battle.

This is one really
unusual room for me.  I don't really like yellow as it seems that it's
too bright and distracting. I've always thought that if you were going
to use yellow in a nursery, then you should go for muted ones.

BUT… this room is
different.  I think the yellow accents and details, even if it is bright
lemony yellow, looks great on this room.
