My Playroom Redesign Plans

| January 9, 2013

You may or may not remember when I shared this photo with you of my kids’ playroom. This room originally went from office to play space right about the time our oldest was turning one. Now, after almost four years of play time, two more kiddos and A LOT more toys, it is time for a little “refresh.”

2013 Nursery Trends: Urban Jungle

| December 26, 2012

This design is near and dear to me mainly because I live in the ultimate urban jungle of Manhattan. The fact is, more and more couples are making the decision to raise their families in the city. So why not embrace the neon lights, the hustle and bustle and create a contemporary nursery with energizing [...]

2013 Nursery Trends: Golden Girl

| December 19, 2012

Gold is glamorous! When paired with soft pinks and grey, it’s pure sophistication in the nursery. The true standout, however, is the four post Ivy crib and dresser from Nurseryworks, debuting in 2013. The subtle “stone” grey color and golden drawer pulls are undoubtedly Oscar-worthy. [...]

2013 Nursery Trends: Global Bazaar

| November 27, 2012

There is something warm and inviting about an eclectic space filled with treasures gathered from faraway lands. It’s often how we decorate our homes—showcasing our travels and heritage—so why not the nursery? The key is to mix and match and layer. That’s exactly what we [...]
