This colorful campaign chest is painted different colors to match the little girl’s room—genius!

Lonny Magazine featured this vintage green campaign piece. This would work so great in a nursery—all it needs is a changing pad on top!

Of course, there are nursery-specific furniture lines that have hopped on the campaign style bandwagon as well. In 2010, Nurseryworks debuted its Uptown collection, featuring a campaign style changing table.

Well, it’s the opposite of the age-old proverb—this cobbler’s child gets the Louboutins of nurseries. We wanted to share some of the images and elements of Alessia’s little lady’s tiny nest.

Blending white, gray and yellow—with a cheeky pop of navy—we worked to create a space that was both calm and serene but also cheerful and bright. We hope that sweet and special dreams, as well as happy and precious memories, always fill this room.

9. Although the little one won’t be using the Tripp Trap Chair for a while, we love the rich, dark blue color. It’ll be used as a shelf until the little tush is ready to take its seat.

I originally saw bold silhouettes used in the Carter Kustera Portraits from Jonathan Adler. These cost a pretty penny at $750 each, but they are hand painted in gouache on large 15″x19″ paper, and this does include a custom frame and color.

I really like the color, font options and size of this print, but it was still lacking some of the personalization that was so charming in the Carter Kustera print.

While working on a current project, I came across this similar design by Love and Victory, which is a lovely blend of the two. These silhouettes are a little more unique because they are cut-outs not prints; a framed 9″x11″ is $78.

They can even be hand personalized with the child’s name and age like the Carter prints.

I love the color palette in the LULU DK collection—brights mixed with pastels in perfect harmony.

I “love” this embroidered “I Love You” fabric. Hint, hint, we’ll be using this as a sheet. Adorable!

There are so many different vibes offered in this collection. The playfulness of the fabric designs is perfect for a nursery or an older child’s abode. I even like some of them for adult interiors.

RETRO: Collections are a great way to invite the “curious” into our home. Whether on a wall or on a shelf, any time you can show off your latest finds the better. People love exploring your treasures and often have a story of their own that they can relate to your unique choices. I love the games this person placed on this wall in the room below.

BOHEMIAN: Add a playful zoo reference above the bed. Faux animal trophies have been a recent trend. Anthropologie carries some fun papier-mâché versions, or you can get crafty and make your own.

VINTAGE: Homemade silhouettes, cut out from favorite fabrics, make the perfect backdrop sky to then layer a clothesline of art. Walls that are re-translated and transcend the obvious are always great.

MODERN: Adhesive wall decals are a great alternative to framed art. A simple translation in a graphic element can result in dramatic results. Mix and match color against black and white.

ECLECTIC: Silly and eclectic wall design leads to a fantastic work in progress. It never has a planned look about it but always looks organized—the eclectic wall is always dynamic. A fun pinata and handmade handkerchief banner show a pure expression of those who live there—unfiltered and unedited is best.
