Planning my daughter’s 1st birthday was so much fun! I wanted to keep things girly, soft, and sweet- just like she is! The theme was “twinkle twinkle little star” so I wanted to use lots of glitter, pinks and peaches, and of course stars!
With the arrival of a new baby, I knew I’d need to make this room functional for both a toddler AND a baby- which meant some creative planning for clothes and toy storage. The room isn’t huge, but I was able to comfortably fit both of their beds, a rocker, toy and book storage, and plenty of clothes storage by putting the dresser in the closet with a changing area on top and making it feel like an extension of the room!
I love using staple pieces from places like Ikea and Land of Nod, and filling in the details with pieces from Etsy to make the space feel truly unique!
