With the right wallpaper a nursery can have that complete, polished look that screams “professionally decorated.” Adding wallpaper to any room can feel like a big commitment but done tastefully, it can bring in drama and sophistication. I found some examples of that highly stylized look that works in today’s nursery.

The trend of using metallic colors in a nursery is so hot right now. Metallics make for an elegant statement while also adding a warmth and sophistication not found in other colors. What I love about both gold and silver as a palette is they are perfect for gender neutral spaces
Spring is in the air (wishful thinking) and one of my favorite spring looks is the light and airy pom pom. They are not just for party center pieces or window displays, but they are the perfect accent for any whimsical nursery or child’s room. And the best part is they are inexpensive and can even be a fun DIY project.
I I had the pleasure of helping reality star, Melissa Rycroft and her hubby Tye, design their first nursery for their little girl who is due to arrive in a few short weeks. Melissa and Tye were so excited and a little bit anxious to put the finishing touches on their Bellini nursery since they were scheduled to reveal all the details in an exclusive photo shoot with OK Magazine. Here’s the 411 on the nursery and all the beautiful things Melissa and Tye hand picked.
My daughter turned five this weekend and we celebrated with a small at-home party with all her best pals. Being the girlie girl she is, we picked the feminine theme of a Pretty in Pink Pajama Party. Just to be clear I did not have 11 five year-olds sleep at my house. I’m not totally insane!
I recently added the Dash and Albert collection to Bellini Stamford and I am obsessed with the entire line. The collection consists of cotton, wool and indoor/outdoor rugs with fabulous colors, textures and patterns that are perfect for any nursery or child’s room. Here are some of my favorite picks.
