I create dreamscapes for children of all ages. I have been painting for over five years and love every minute of it. Some of my art I intentionally use less detail to allow a child's mind to imagine more when they look at it. I first introduced my art to the world in 2012 at the Kid Show in Las Vegas, ABC Kid Show in Louisville, Kentucky and The Plush Show in Los Angeles, CA.
I have been working with Pine Creek Bedding, another Oregon company for over two years to create art that specifically coordinates with their amazing custom bedding. This partnership has been a great opportunity for me to push the envelope when it comes to creating art that appeals to both children and parents. We are constantly brainstorming on new art/bedding ideas. (you will see some of Pine Creek's bedding included in my slide show).
Current art projects yet to be revealed include: quatrefoil patterns, navy and lime green, navy and corals, browns and oranges, and shades of lavender.
From the very beginning of my painting journey, I believed that my art should be part of giving back to children and families who have been affected by abuse. A portion of my art is donated each year to organizations that help children and families rebuild their lives. Some of those organizations include: Baby2Baby.org, Operation Underground Railroad, Juliette's House, Children's Center, Dori's Promise International, Dwell With Dignity, India Partners, and Venice Family Clinics.
