We live in a loft, and Eleanor’s bedroom is teeny – 8’x9′ – and has no natural light (only partial walls with a gap at the top), so I was aiming to create a colorful, fun space for our little lady to enjoy, with the intention of softening the concrete ceilings and brightening the otherwise dark space.
Sebastian’s big boy room is bright and fun, much like the little man himself. We live in a loft, and his bedroom gets almost no natural light, so every design decision centered around creating a bright and happy space for him to play and sleep. He loves trains, trucks and cars, so there is a subtle transportation theme going on with out it screaming, “LOOK AT ALL THE TRUCKS!”
