They say you can’t truly appreciate your own mother until you experience motherhood for yourself. While I don’t know if that’s always true, I can say becoming a mother yourself opens your eyes to brand new aspects of what the role of being a mom really means.
Being just a few weeks away from becoming a third-time mommy, I’ve been reflecting on what motherhood means to me even more. Mom is a warrior. Mom is a soft spot to fall. Mom is your teacher. Mom is your champion. Mom is so much more than one definition. Sometimes words fail, but you sure can make mom feel special with a gift picked out with her in mind.
