Getting My Body Back After Baby

There’s a lot of less than ideal things that come with a December baby—cold temperatures that keep you cooped up inside and overlapping birthday and Christmas presents to name a few. One thing that a December delivery isn’t lacking? Fitspiration! Yep, you’ll be slapped in the face by the New Year with workout resolutions galore. And if that doesn’t do it, Knocked-Up Fitness has launched their Core Rehab Program, which will surely do the trick.

Knocked-Up Fitness Core Rehab Program - Body After Baby, Post Partum Fitness

I’m one month post-partum and desperately longing to feel like a human being again—scheduling a hair appointment, squeezing back into my regular jeans and sending out the search party for my long-lost abs.

Before I get ahead of myself and sign up for a marathon or climb Mt. Reiner (rolls eyes), I’m focusing on rebuilding my core. Erica Ziel’s Core Rehab Program educates while also improving balance throughout your body, focusing on these main areas: posture, hips and pelvis, ribcage connection, adding rotation, adding planks, adding “flexion” and crunches.

No matter how much a girl maintains her shape during pregnancy, the birth of a child cannot but affect her figure. And although this is a natural process, many find it difficult to part with the cherished abs and thin waist. Thanks for sharing. Great article.
