Sneak in an Extra Serving of Veggies with this Cold Summer Treat

This banana, spinach and yogurt smoothie is a great way for your baby or toddler to get an extra serving of veggies. It’s a healthy and yummy cold treat on a hot summer day—even your big kids will like it!

This smoothie recipe is suitable for babies 10-12 months, toddlers and big kids. Always make sure the consistency of your baby’s food is one he can handle. Before combining foods, make sure your baby has tried each one individually first with no reaction to it.

Banana and Spinach Smoothie Recipe

Banana, Spinach and Yogurt Smoothie
Note: Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
1 banana
1 cup fresh baby spinach—thoroughly washed
1 container plain or vanilla yogurt—I like to use plain coconut milk yogurt, but you can also use dairy or almond milk yogurt.
3-4 ice cubes (optional)

Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
