A Big Improvement from Marsala…

Pantone just announced their 2016 colors—yes, COLORS—of the year as Rose Quartz and Serenity. Now these are some colors we can work with in the nursery as opposed to last year’s choice, marsala. Breaking tradition, Pantone named two colors that they think work perfectly as a pair.

Pantone Color of the Year 2016

Of course, pink and blue are the mainstays of nursery color choices, but these shades add a slight twist on the traditional. Rose Quartz is a softer pink with a hint of peach, and Serenity leans towards a periwinkle blue with shades of lavender pushing through. Try them alone or try them together.
