It’s Fall! Go Apple Picking, Bake and Repeat.

Fall is here—let the apple picking officially begin! These cinnamon apple chips are easy to make, tasty and healthy, and they are a great way to use up some of those apples from the bushels you brought home. They are one of my family’s new favorite snacks! This recipe is suitable for babies 12 months and up, toddlers, big kids and adults. Always make sure finger food pieces are a size your baby can handle.

Cinnamon Apple Chips Recipe

Cinnamon Apple Chips
Note: Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
2 large apples—washed and sliced very thin with a knife or mandolin
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, and line two baking sheets with unbleached parchment paper. Place the apples onto the baking sheets, and sprinkle them with cinnamon. I love to use Pink Lady, Honeycrisp or Gala apples, but any variety will work.

Place the baking sheets into the oven, and bake for about an hour and a half until the apples are nice and crisp. Turn the apple slices over halfway through the cook time. Let cool before serving, and enjoy!
