Project Nursery teamed up with Fisher-Price a few months ago for the exciting 2015 Fisher-Price™ Registry Sweepstakes. For three months, registrants from all across the country entered to win a grand prize package worth $25,000, including a dream nursery installation designed by yours truly and a one-year supply of products from some of the most trusted and beloved baby brands.
After months of collecting thousands of entries, it was time to name the lucky grand prize winner, and we’re ready to introduce you to her now! Meet Crystal Huff from Mobile, Alabama, who welcomed her beautiful baby boy Connor just a few weeks ago and brought him home to her dream nursery, installed by Project Nursery!
Like so many others, Crystal was inspired to enter the sweepstakes as she, herself, grew up with so many of the beloved Fisher-Price toys and products. And that nostalgia combined with the company’s new, stylish furniture collections created an even bigger draw to register. Crystal’s reaction to learning she was the winner? Speechless!
Project Nursery created four Dream Boards for Crystal to choose from based on the most popular trends we see in nurseries today. Of the four themes, she selected our Safari Chic Dream Board because she loved the neutral tones, the deep, rich finish of the Soho Island Crib, Lakeland Double Dresser and Changing Station and the idea of a space that transported you to a different corner of the globe.
Now you have an idea of the design inspiration, but of course there was a twist! In our conversations with Crystal leading up to our visit to her home, we discovered that she wanted to take the safari chic theme and blend it with some world traveler decor accents she had seen in her own nursery styling research.
