Design Reveal: Spring-Inspired Shared Girls’ Room

Spring is in the air, and all the beautiful floral blooms were the inspiration for our latest room design for our two newest little clients, sisters Reese and Lainey. When two-year-old Lainey transitioned from her crib into a big girl bed, the family wanted a big girl room for her to share with her older sister Reese.

We started with the turquoise Jenny Lind beds from The Land of Nod that the girls’ mom fell in love with. From there, we popped in some coral, navy and yellow with the Pottery Barn Teen rug and the gorgeous pillows from Caitlin Wilson.

The dresser positioned between the beds is a special piece—it has been in the family for several generations, and we had it painted a fun coral color to fit right in with the new decor. We love to add a little pop of something vintage to make a space feel special. We found the gold pouf at The Land of Nod, as well as the duvet covers and shams that add in a little pink that any princess would love!
