Readers’ Favorite: Ryann’s Heirloom Nursery

There is something that tugs at our heartstrings when we see a room filled with sentimental, heirloom accents. This room is a perfect blend of items that have been passed down through the family, like the rocking chair and bassinet, and things found at local flea markets. This baby will surely feel the love of family and friends in this space.

This is also the reason why I always hold back when it comes to buying used or second-hand stuff at flea markets or even at ebay and Craigslist. I am afraid I might come across stuff that used to belong to people who are negative or anything that might have come from homes with a troubled history. I have read that everything in your home contributes to the overall aura or atmosphere in it and that they also absorb the energy of the home and their previous owners.

Pre-loved items really emit a warm and positive kind of energy. Especially when then item comes from a loving home and from previous owners that are caring.
