Monogram Wall Decor

I don’t think anyone will disagree that one of the latest trends in nursery design is displaying a large monogram on the wall. A southern tradition no more, monograms come in every shape and size and for all budgets too!

My favorite way to incorporate a monogram in the nursery is with these large 48″ wood letter cutouts. You won’t need any other wall decor when you commit to letters like this!

If you’re looking for something a little smaller (and less expensive), you can find smaller versions of the wooden letters too.

Fellow Project Nursery Design Experts Little Crown Interiors also sell gorgeous custom monograms in their shop.

If the swirly look isn’t your style or you need something that will work in a little boy’s room, I love how the large metal letters were used to spell the baby’s initials in Walker’s Nursery.

And finally, the easiest way to add a monogram to your nursery, kid’s room or just about any flat surface in your house is with a vinyl sticker! They aren’t permanent, come in a variety of colors and are extremely cost-effective!

Here are some of my favorites found on etsy.

1. Scallop Circle Border 2. Polka Dot Border Frame 3. Round Circle 4. Shabby Chic Damask 5. Damask Border Frame 6. Polka Dot Oval Frame

I can just imagine how hard it is to cut the wood with all these curves. They do cut it from a bigger board, right?
