DIY: Valentine’s Day Class Treats

He loves me…he loves me not… Ah yes, it is that time! Valentine’s Day is nearing, and the stores are filling their shelves with all sorts of goodies for your kids to pass out in class. This year, try something different. Pass out a treat that has a creative twist. Not feeling very creative or crafty? No worries, we have taken care of those details, and your kiddo’s classmates will be swooning over their valentine.

Here are two ideas that are sure to catch cupid’s eye with a witty play on words paired with a unique way to package up sweets!

O’Fish-ally Be Mine?

Valentines Class Treat

What’s inside? We used blue sixlets “water” and added Swedish Fish inside the fun vending capsule “fish bowls” and finished off with a great tag.

Next we took heart-shaped push-up pop containers and filled them with red, pink and white M&M’s.

Push up pop treats

We then attached cute “be mine” tags tied with twine. To prop up the pops, we took cupcake cups, added a foam ball and stuck the push up in the foam ball to hold it upright. We finished it off with some vase filler.

I Need to “Pop” the Question, Will You Be Mine?

Do you have a fabulous class treat idea?
