Giveaway + Free Printables: “Spraying Good Cheer” with Method

Starbucks card? Candle? Bath salts? Travel mug? I tend to run through the same old items in my head for my children’s teacher gifts year after year. Sound familiar? This holiday season, however, I challenged myself (and now you!) to give something “extra-ordinary” with the help of our long-time partner method.

My eldest is in the New York City public school system. Kindergarten has been a big wake-up call for this easygoing preschool mom. No longer do I linger in the classroom at drop off and chat with the other parents and teachers while my youngest runs circles around his older brother and his classmates. It’s more like pack a lunch, get last week’s library book into the backpack and get him through the school’s front doors by 8:15 or it’s me reporting to the principal’s office! But the biggest shock came when I realized that basic items like hand sanitizer and certain cleaning supplies are not readily available in the classroom. These incredibly important items are often on the teacher’s wish list for the class-parent to rally or else it comes out of his or her own pocket. And with fifty germy little hands in one room, these products are an absolute necessity!

That’s when method came to the rescue. The people against dirty donated cases of all-purpose cleaning spray, hand soap and hand sanitizer to me so I could pass them along to my son’s classroom making for a thoughtful teacher’s gift.

And with that, I tapped my friend and PN Design Expert, party stylist Rebekah Dempsey to whip up some holiday tags this season so we could all “Spray Good Cheer” together.

So whether it’s for your child’s teacher, a house-warming or hostess gift, I challenge you, dear readers, to think about giving the ever so necessary, eco-friendly and chic “Gift of Clean” this holiday season from method. And dare I say, “Spray it Forward”?

WIN IT! Now you can give the gift of clean too! Three Project Nursery readers will win a $40 prize package each of Project Nursery’s holiday cleaning picks by method.
