2013 Nursery Trends: French Chinoiserie

Those French are just so chic. Whether it’s ordering a café au lait and a french macaron in a bakery or decorating the nursery with some added french flair, it will no doubt turn out sophisticated and ladylike. We took the classic French Chinoiserie style, which blends traditional French decor with Chinese accents, and we turned it into inspiration for our latest 2013 nursery trend. Using the Foothill collection in weathered grey from The MDB Family  as a starting point, we added red accents and both Asian and Parisian elements. Here’s our French Chinoiserie designed especially for baby.

I have to admit my ignorance and say that before this article, I didn't know what chinoiserie meant. I didn't even know how to pronounce it!

Love it! Yes very Chic and can be so gender neutral too. It is the grey crib and dresser that adds that touch of modern too the room so it doesn't become too fussy. Love this board!
