Giveaway: Dalla Nonna Calendar Necklace

Mom jewelry has always been very popular. It’s such a sweet way to celebrate a new mom or to commemorate the birth of a child. One lucky Project Nursery reader will win Dalla Nonna’s signature Calendar Necklace.

Dalla Nonna’s calendar necklace was derived from an old tie pin of the creator’s grandfather. The piece is executed in sterling silver (with dimensions of about 1″x3/4″, suspended on an 18″ chain and accented with a sapphire in the color chosen by the wearer to commemorate a special date.

Of course, the obvious choice would be to select the birth date of your child, but I also think it would be super cute to wear while pregnant with your due date on it. What a fun way to answer the question you hear so many times as a pregnant mama!

WIN IT! One Project Nursery reader will win the Dalla Nonna Calendar Necklace in sterling silver marking the day of your choice ($150 value). The winner can select the finish (matte or shiny), the month, the day and the sapphire color. Note that because all calendar pieces are custom made to order, they ship 3-6 weeks from the day the order is received.

HOW TO ENTER: Visit Dalla Nonna, and leave a comment below telling us what special date you would select. Contest ends Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11:59PM PST. Winner chosen by random number generator.

I would select my baby’s actual birth date, so that I could wear it forever and it has a meaningful date.

I would pick Sept 18th. This would be something nice for my cousin. As it is the birthday of her son and of motherhood, since this is her first child. I also added you on youtube

July 26 2012 this is my first child, Angelina. She’s almost 4 months and the poor little girl has been suffering since she’s been born. Many medical complications. Just waiting for her to get well so we can finally fully enjoy her without so many worries.

I would love to win this! I think–since I’m only 14.5 weeks along–I would either pick our due date or even our wedding date! So much fun! Thanks for the chance to win. :)

Both of my kids have birthdays in December, so if I were to win, I would beg and plead to be allowed to pay the difference to have a second stone added to the month of December. I would get a blue sapphire on the 30th for my son’s birthday and a pink stone on the 22nd for my daughter’s.

I would pick March 17th, my daughter Violette’s birthday. She came after several miscarriages and is the center of our whole world. My life changed completely when I had her – left my job, moved cities for my husband’s job and bought a house so that date stands out as the first day of my new life!
