Do-It-Yourself, Toddler Room

My Little Surfer Dudes’ Beach Pad

In my last post, I shared all of my nursery projects. This week, I’m going to show where I am with my toddlers’ room. When we were planning nursery #3, we kicked it into high gear to get started on the other two boys’ shared room. You may remember the DIY toddler palette bed tutorial I shared, but not much else has taken place since. Now that things have settled down a tad, I thought it was time to get going on finishing my little surfers’ paradise. I pinky swear when it is ALL complete, I will post the entire room design.

DIY Pallet Bed - Toddler Bed

Since the assembly of the beds, I have added a few things.

DIY Toddler Room Ideas
1. Painted craft letters 2. Ikea paper lantern turned hard-wired light fixture
3. Repurposed/repainted nursery decor 4. Decorative lanterns 5. Locker bins to hold homework and art projects

Oh, and we can’t forget about the DIY swing shelf.

So now here is my wish list to add some final touches.

1. Surfboard Plaque 2. Chevron Rug 3. Polished Nickel Pendant 4. Weathered Wood Beach Banner

Don’t you just LOVE the Chevron Rug? That is a must! Now, I think the only thing missing is some paint detail on the wall. Have you come across some fab finds for your nursery or room design? Please share!

I really envy your knack for all things crafty and DIY. And oh, yes, like what Florence said, the decorative lanterns are indeed lovely and charming additions to the room. Although boys being boys, I wonder if they appreciate these.
