A Baby Shower Happy Hour

Who says baby showers are only for baby #1 and need to be held during brunch? Celebrating the upcoming arrival of baby #2 or #3 is just as important as the first. All babies should be celebrated! Here is my most recent baby shower. We called it a “Baby Hour”—part baby shower, part happy hour. I thought this was the perfect way to gather my dearest gal pals and celebrate the arrival of baby boy Bennett. Why pink? Well…I’ve had the traditional boy shower, and since this was my third boy, we decided to play up the decor based on my favorite color. We kept things simple—a Saturday afternoon, great appetizer-style food and some margaritas. Fondant pieces from Scrumptious Swirls adorned the glasses and DIY cake along with darling and delicious cookies from The Cookie Jar.

A pink baby shower for a boy. I think that's really cool. I see you used your flowers-from-cupcake-lining that you DIYed.
