Sunshine Safari Shower: Table Design Extravaganza

Last week we posted a recap covering the Operation Shower baby shower event in San Diego. The focus was on the wonderful cause and how Project Nursery joined the OS team to make a difference for local military families. Today, I want to pay tribute to the ten party designers who donated their time and skills to bring the Sunshine Safari theme to life with their impressive table designs.

A little background on how the table design aspect of the event worked. Each party designer was given a $250 credit towards Pottery Barn Kids product along with a safari themed printable party set designed by Paper & Cake – the rest was left to their extraordinary party designing abilities. There were no real limits and it was so cool to see how each designer handpicked different pbk items to work in with their own creations, each whipping up gorgeous decor for the special moms-to-be to enjoy. You can see by the pictures how much fun it was to see these tables take shape. I don’t think I can choose a favorite. Can you?

And of course no party would be complete without a dessert table. The very talented Marie from Sweets Indeed designed this gorgeous table.

And the showstopping cake from Hey There Cupcake served as the perfect centerpiece.

Again, a very special thank you to all the fabulous party designers for making this an event to remember!

[...] While brainstorming ideas for the party, I knew I wanted to have a tiara timeout area as a fun little photo station spot for the girls. I posted one night on facebook if anyone knew where I can get a party hat and Shawna from Shawna Brockmeier Styled Events emailed me and quickly was hired for the job. Shawna was quick with providing a sample and a pleasure to work with. I love her style and I am so glad this party brought me to get to know her. You can see some of her amazing styling over on her page and in projects such as her recent collaboration with some wonderful vendors and stylist as she worked on this Operation shower event.  [...]

Love these table designs and centerpieces. I see the centerpieces don't have to be uniform. And you can make them completely whimsical! I just love the ones shown in these photos!
