I’m Hooked

The great challenge of having a small nursery is not having enough space to keep things organized (and you know how much I love to be organized). One of my favorite little decorating secrets is the use of wall hooks. Not only are they fun and decorative, they are actually pretty useful. Towels, sweaters, blankets and hats find themselves right at home hanging on them. Here are some of my favorite wall hook finds.

Animal hooks are a nursery classic, but this modern spin by Wolfum is fresh and hip and uses cool color combos and patterns.

These bright colored shelf/hook combos from The Land of Nod add a splash of color (red, white or aqua) to any boring wall.

Monograms or name plaques are always a fan favorite in any nursery, so why not make them adorable and decorative yet useful. These letter hooks from New Arrivals, Inc. double as decor and hooks.

A little bling and some flowers always add feminine flare. These flower hooks, available at your local Bellini store, are hand painted and super elegant.

Gotta a favorite hook? Do tell!

oh, i forgot to say... i really love the first two you featured here. that first one is ready to go in my son's nursery as is, as he has an orange and chocolate brown themed nursery... with birds, and several other animals.

and the second is so retro modern chic. if it came in orange or brown, i'd get it in a heartbeat. in fact, i would hang that anywhere in my home in those two colors... or green.

and my first comment was supposed to say "wanted"... not "anted". =)

i love this "two birds" hook piece... http://www.pishposhbaby.com/90362.html?gdftrk=gdfV2560_a_7c660_a_7c2359_a_7c90362

i really anted to get it for my son's nursery, as the theme was sweet bird vintage.

Gone were the days when hooks are so ugly that it's a must to conceal them. Now, hooks make really cute and lovely accents to a room.
